Property.com SOLD to Foreclosure.com - Rick Schwartz sells another domain for mega dollars! The deal is rumored to be one of the best ever or perhaps the biggest ever.
The specific terms of the deal to acquire Property.com were not disclosed. However, Geisen indicated that the value of the deal is one of the largest URL purchases to date.
That’s a deal that has the seller Rick Schwartz – who is known as the “Domain King” — smiling from ear-to-ear. He purchased Property.com for $750,000 in 2005…………..
We all know that Rick Schwartz a.k.a. Domain King is a well know figure in the domain industry, sometimes also controversial for his straight shooting talk. When ever he talks about domains, he is generally very bullish on domain values. Many times one wonders if he is realistic?
But his latest mega sale of property.com just a few months after he sold iReport.com to cnn.com for almost a million dollars is pretty amazing! It may be a usual affair to hit mega sales for Rick, but many domainers wonder how can he pull of these big sales all the time? He is not known to sell for small money.
I must say that I am impressed that he can pull of these huge sales and he deserves all the credit to push domain values higher and keep the domains in the news media.
Well done……now only if you can disclose what did you really sell it for?
