How long have you been playing the ‘Domain Game’?
I know that I am addicted to domaining or as they call it ‘The-Domain-Game’.
I have been buying and selling [ well, mostly buying
] domain names for last 10 years. I have always enjoyed it and many times sat all thru the weekends just registering domains and reading domain forums and blogs.
So many times, I thought I should just stop buying more domains but it doesn’t work. Lately I have passed couple of months without buying any domains but I am not sure how long will it last though
Recently, I do occasionally think that what kind of life is it, if you just spend it sitting in front of a pc?
I am getting out a bit more than before and loving it. But domain management tasks and learning web development take away a large portion of my evenings and weekends.
I am wondering how many other domainers are in similar situation like me?
- How long have you been in the domain business?
- Do you enjoy being a part of this business (or regret it sometimes)?
- Are you addicted to domaining?
- What is your secret to make domaining easy and save some time for other fun stuff?

I’ve been doing this for 10 years, but only seriously for about 2.
Still kick myself that 10 years ago I wasn’t buying all the right names, but that’s life….won’t get fooled again…

I know exactly what you mean. It’s always 20-20 in hindsight. Isn’t it?
