New name for Cyber-Squatters: Domain Pirates?

I came across this nice little read about how no one ever imagined that the domains will have great value one day and thus no one cared to look properly at the complex legal aspects involved when the domain name system was initially designed.
When the domain name server system was established it was never envisaged (what carefree days) that domain names would have any value, financial or otherwise. However, the internet became more commercial and its size increased exponentially, and companies began to recognise the value of internet domain names.
Overall the article is simple, mostly accurate, and to the point but it caught my attention with its title:
Domain Names and Pirates
Sounds funny but makes sense

Nice article – as it is with everything that people create – first it is created to improve the lives of many people then it gets used for the negative (destruction or pain).
If all the people UNITED on this Planet Earth and did not harm each other (do evil) Humanity would be able to travel and live anywhere in the universe (that is what we all could do if we all unite our energy for one purpose).
