Here is a piece of some good news for people and companies that use whois privacy protection on their domain names.
Google Says private registration won’t hurt your search rankings
According to JohnMu, it typically doesn’t impact rankings, so you need not worry if you are already implementing it.
I am not sure what the article mean by “it typically doesn’t impact rankings”?
Many people use privacy protection due to various reasons and they just found one more reason to keep using it as doesn’t hurt them in SEO

Domain name privacy is NOT relevant – the Content on the website is the key with the Right keywords = Success
